Malia Moses Receives 2011 Kathryn Anderson Scholarship

Malia Moses
June 6, 2011 Malia Moses of Fitchburg, MA was awarded CBC’s 2011 Kathryn Anderson Scholarship. The scholarship, given annually to a graduating senior, was created to honor Commonwealth Ballet’s co-Founder, Kathryn Anderson.

CBC Receives Grant from FFMW

December 14, 2011 Commonwealth Ballet was awarded a $2,500 grant from the Foundation for MetroWest to support two March 2011 performances of A Small Thing, Lost at Regis College's Casey Theatre.


CBC Receives Grant from Weston Cultural Council

January 7, 2010 Commonwealth Ballet was awarded a $350 grant from the Weston Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency, to support two March 2011 performances of A Small thing, Lost at Regis College's Casey Theatre.


Adé Chiké Torbert - So You Think You Can Dance

July 15, 2010 CBC Guest Artist Adé Chiké Torbert was a Top 4 Finalist on season 7 of Fox's So You Think You Can Dance. Adé has appeared in CBC's production of The Nutcracker dancing the roles of Peter, Nutcracker, and Russian.

June 7, 2010 Yifan (Annie) Zhang of Acton was awarded CBC’s 2010 Kathryn Anderson Scholarship. The scholarship, given annually to a graduating senior, was created to honor Commonwealth Ballet’s Founder, Kathryn Anderson.


CBC Receives Grant from Acton-Boxborough Cultural Council

January 7, 2010 Commonwealth Ballet was awarded a $350 grant from the Acton-Boxborough Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency, for the April 2010 performance of A Little Night Dancing at R.J. Grey Junior High School (Acton).
